Since 2009, I have guided tours throughout Alaska and the Yukon, working with top travel operators like Adventures by Disney, Premier Alaska Tours, Holland America, Princess, Globus, and so many more. My guiding experience has taken me from walking tours to multi-day expeditions in Prudhoe Bay, where I led guests on unforgettable adventures—hiking, biking, kayaking, and rafting—all while sharing the history and culture of the wild places we explored. My commitment to storytelling, guest experience, and safety ensures that every traveler walks away with an incredible memory and a deeper appreciation for the places they visit.
For the past decade, I have also taught high school history in the South Sound, using my master’s in American History to connect students with our storied past. I never went to school to be a tour guide, but my love for travel, tourism, and hospitality led me to a career that allows me to combine both my passions—education and adventure. My wife, who is also a history teacher, and I live in Tacoma, WA, with our one-year-old daughter, Maisie. When we aren’t teaching and learning, we’re exploring as well, traveling to over 40 countries together (and three with Maisie!)
I can’t wait to help you experience the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest—right outside our back door, waiting to be discovered!
