Who we are

PNW Adventures & Tours was founded by Kyle Kendall, a history instructor based in the South Sound with a passion for place-based storytelling and meaningful travel experiences.

Kyle has spent over a decade guiding visitors through some of the most striking landscapes in North America, including extensive guiding work in Alaska. His background blends formal historical training with hands-on experience leading small groups through complex environments, where clarity, adaptability, and hospitality matter.

He has also received professional training through Adventures by Disney, where the emphasis is not just on logistics, but on guest experience, storytelling, and care. That approach continues to shape every tour offered today.

At its core, PNW Adventures & Tours is built around a commitment to hospitality, authenticity, and thoughtful exploration. Tours are intentionally small, designed to move at a human pace, and grounded in the belief that the best experiences come from genuine connection to place, people, and story.

Whether walking the streets of Tacoma or Poulsbo, paddling local waters, or planning future adventures deeper into the Pacific Northwest, Kyle brings an innovative and creative approach to guiding, with a constant focus on making guests feel welcomed, informed, and fully engaged.
